Early Autumn news update

We're proud to be one of the Social Business Wales Awards and Conference sponsors!

The Social Business Wales Awards and Conference 2024 is a two day event taking place at Venue Cymru Llandudno on the 1st and 2nd of October. We’ll be there and we’re looking forward to hearing more about the incredible projects and businesses that have made it through.

The fifteen awards finalists, three each in five categories, have now been announced - we're delighted to sponsor the category for 'Social Enterprise building Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice'.

Social justice is fundamental to the social enterprise movement. The winner of this category will show clearly how they’re building inclusion and demonstrate the impact of their work on their target community. They will display a unique approach to challenging inequalities in Wales and inspire other organisations to improve their commitments to diversity and inclusion.

Email Tim and tell us who you are, the name of your organisation, and what you're doing - and please attach a picture we can use to go with the story. We'll then share and show off your great work.

Thank you to Sukhdev

Thank you to Sukhdev Johal of Clapton Community Football Club for presenting at our AGM in June. His presentation was fascinating - Clapton FC are a 100% fan-owned football in East London, and we've been incredibly proud to support them as they bring their ground, and club, to life.

We've uploaded Sukhdev's presentation to our YouTube channel - take a look here.
